The purpose of the Carroll County Recreation Department Athletics is to provide the children of West Georgia/East Alabama areas quality instructional athletic programs that promote teamwork, build self-esteem, and increase skill knowledge in a safe, non-threatening environment. The Carroll County Recreation Department offers a wide range of sports activities.

Gymnastics Classes

We are proud to offer gymnastics classes for boys and girls ages walking through adults. Until the child is in first grade, the classes are offered by age, after that the age groups in the classes are combined according to the level of gymnastics ability.

CCRD Spring Athletics

CCRD Spring Athletics include baseball, softball, soccer, and track. The age groups for these sports range from 3- 14 years old. Most spring sports will begin at the 1st of March. Please sign up now at our office located on Newnan Road. The last day to register is Friday, February 3rd. Also, feel free to fill out our new scholarship form offered to all families.

Carroll County After School Program

Carroll County Recreation has an excellent After School Program for children ages 5-15. The After School building is located on Stripling Chapel Road in Carrollton and is open Monday-Friday 2:30-6:00pm. The After School Program also offers childcare on school breaks and/or holidays from 7am-6pm. For more information please call 770.830.5902.
